Come and celebrate our 25th Anniversary. How to look after Despite being a perennial they are not hardy - so be careful where you buy one. Purchasing: Sometimes you see them standing next to an open supermarket door and it is quite likely they have already a chill. Make sure they are well wrapped when leaving the shop. Positioning: Once the plants are home, be careful where you put them. They don't like droughts or being in cold rooms, and they like good light. But putting the plants by a window could also be damaging - avoid the cold area behind drawn curtains. Watering: Keep testing the compost with your finger every day to make sure it's not sodden wet, or not dried out. It's also a good idea to mist the plant every couple of days. |
